HARRY Repays Royal Cottage Costs – Using 2% Of Cash From $150 Million Netflix Deal

A SPOKESMAN for the Duke of Sussex today confirmed he had paid the bill in full by making a contribution of just under £3 million to the Sovereign Grant.

The payment was made possible thanks to Harry and Meghan’s controversial new Netflix deal, reportedly worth $150m.

However, critics this evening slammed the length of time it took for such an agreement to be made. Graham Smith of Republic, which campaigns for an elected head of state, said: ‘Harry should have paid this bill from the outset, rather than expecting the taxpayer to stump up the cash.’

The house was extensively renovated for the couple after their marriage in May 2018, with the intention of it being a family home for son Archie – until Harry, influenced by Markel, decided to step back from the Royal Family and leave the country.
