PRITI Patel made it clear today that she would not take the knee and bow for the Marxist-driven Black Lives Matter movement.
During a discussion with LBC’s Nick Ferrari on the issue of protests, Home Secretary Priti Patel was asked: “What about taking the knee?… Some Scottish rugby payers decided that they would not…. But would you, Home Secretary, still take the knee?”
“No, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t” Patel vehemently replied. “I would not have at the time, either.”
“There are other ways in which people can express their opinions” she added. “Protesting the way people did last summer is not acceptable at all – we saw statues being brought down; some councils making a stance around statues and street names. There are other ways in which those discussions can take place, and also, quite frankly, I don’t support attempts to re-write history. I think that’s wrong”.
