NIGEL Farage has slammed pro-EU loudmouth Alastair Campbell following a heating debate on BBC Newsnight.

During the interview, Campbell clashed with former MEP and GB News presenter Alex Phillips, embarking on a furious rant and accusing the BBC of not challenging pro-Brexit commentators.

The spat came after Campbell took objection to Phillips’ valid points about Brexit and the TCA, which she later elaborated on in a separate tweet, writing:

“The 2 points I made that Campbell called ‘lies’ 1. TCA prevents UK subsidising strategic industry [Title XI Chapter 3) simmons-simmons.com/en/publication 2. UK couldn’t reject EU regs as a Member [Section 2(2) ECA 1972] instituteforgovernment.org.uk/article/explai Either he doesn’t know sh*t – or is the liar”.

After watching the interview, former Brexit Party/Reform Party leader Nigel Farage wrote on Twitter that the BBC should ban Campbell from appearing on their future shows, branding him a “thug and a bully”.
