A PRIVATE plane carrying former President Donald Trump was forced to make an emergency landing late last night.
Suffering engine failure while flying over the Gulf of Mexico, the plane was attempting to take Trump home to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, on his way home from the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans, where he had given a speech to Republican party donors.
The plane had travelled 75 miles and had reached an altitude of about 28,000 feet before the pilot realised that one of the engines had dangerously failed.
Thankfully, those onboard – Secret Service agents, staffers, Trump and his advisers – were unharmed in the incident, after an emergency landing was carried out in Louisiana.
