R.I.P YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS: Prince Philip Has Passed Away At Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace Confirms

PRINCE Philip has sadly passed away at Windsor Castle following years of devoted service to Queen and country.
Loved by the nation for his wit and military service, the Duke was once described by the Queen as her “strength and stay”, and remained loyally by his wife’s side for over 70 years.
Born in 1921, Prince Philip was taken away from his homeland following a tumultuous uprising that saw him smuggled to safety, with an orange crate serving as a makeshift crib.
The Prince served in the Royal Navy and upon meeting Elizabeth stated he “never looked at anyone else”.
Putting aside his own career ambitions for Queen and country, the Prince refused to stop working as a representative of the UK until well into his nineties.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh” Buckingham Palace said in a statement. “His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
The Prince had a long and fulfilled life, and will be sorely missed by his family and by a nation who today offer up both their gratitude and utmost respect.
