THE U.S. Navy have confirmed that they were forced to fire warning shots at three Iranian Vessels, after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) refused to change course and engaged in intimidating behaviour in the Gulf.

The US Navy said Iranian vessels charged at two American ships in the Persian Gulf on Monday, forcing the US to act, with one warship firing warning shots at the Iranian boats. During the hair-raising encounter, which could have resulted in a collision, the US Navy said the Iranian boats came just “68 yards” away from both American ships.

“The U.S. crews issued multiple warnings via bridge-to-bridge radio and loud-hailer devices, but the IRGCN vessels continued their close range manoeuvres,” a military statement said.

“The crew of Firebolt then fired warning shots, and the IRGCN vessels moved away to a safe distance from the U.S. vessels,” the statement added.

“The U.S. is not an aggressor” said one military source. “Our forces are trained, however, to conduct effective defensive measures when necessary.”

In the statement, the US Navy also said their forces will “continue to remain vigilant” and that “commanding officers retain the inherent right to act in self-defence”.

Experts have recently spoken of the threat of ‘world war 3’, amid growing aggression from China, Russia, and Iran – with all three now in an alliance that has already seen them carry-out joint naval drills.

This year Pentagon reported that China is undertaking a significant nuclear buildup, which will see the size of the nation’s arsenal double by 2030 – as the threat posed by the anti-British, anti-American alliance of Iran, Russia and China, grows in strength and aggression.

Since its first nuclear test in 1964, Beijing has possessed an arsenal numbering first in the dozens and now in the low 200s of warheads.

Russia has even developed a WMD that can target the US or UK from space

Yet China is now rapidly expanding that deterrent, and indeed that catastrophic weapon, and is building more and better intercontinental ballistic missiles to improve its ability to hit targets in the United States and the countries of its allies, with long-range bombers, ballistic missile submarines and land-based missiles.

The Defence Department has stated that the number of warheads that can strike the U.S. will grow to roughly 200 by 2025, with the Chinese buildup predicted to make life harder for the U.S. America’s nuclear shield system.

This month, Pakistan also joined Iran in a naval drill – clearly demonstrating where the country’s loyalties lie in the event of war between the US, UK, and its western allies.

Bizarrely, a spokesperson for Pakistan’s navy excused the drill as an ‘unplanned event’.
