As Humiliated Wragg Gives Up Tory Whip, Thousands Call For Liar And Electoral Fraudster Angela Rayner to Join Him In Resigning

MP William Wragg, who admitted sharing MPs’ personal phone numbers with someone on a dating app as part of a honey trap scam, has “voluntarily” given up the Conservative whip, while Thousands of Brits across the country demand that Labour Deputy Angela Rayner also resigns.

Wragg, who just yesterday resigned from his roles on the 1922 backbench committee and the Public Administration Committee, will now sit as an independent MP in the House of Commons.

Last week, he told The Times he had been targeted by a suspected Westminster honeytrap plot.

Having sent the anonymous individual sexual images of himself, Wragg was then allegedly blackmailed into handing over his colleague’s contact details. Rather than report the matter to the police, Wragg complied and gave the trickster telephone numbers.

Meanwhile, Labour Deputy Angela Rayner, who was caught lying to the public about her previous address, thus having also lied on her election nomination papers and committing electoral fraud as well as tax evasion, is facing growing calls to resign.

The allegations – which Rayner denies – stem from Lord Ashcroft’s biography, Red Queen, and center around the former council house of the self-described ‘ginger growler’.

It goes back to the properties she and her then husband Mark Rayner owned in Stockport. When the couple married, Mark Rayner owned 126 Lowndes Lane while Rayner owned 80 Vicarage Road – purchasing it in 2007 under the right to buy scheme. Rayner sold the Vicarage Road property in 2015 for £127,500 shortly after she became an MP.

The question is whether Vicarage Road was her main residence or whether her main residence was her husband’s property on Lowndes Lane. Rayner says Vicarage Road was her primary residence despite claims from neighbours that she lived at Lowndes Lane from 2010 to 2016.

Some of these neighbours, who lived next to Sir Keir Starmer‘s number two before she became an MP, have since told the Daily Mail that her claim she and her husband maintained separate homes following their 2010 marriage is “completely untrue”.

Not mincing her words, one former neighbour said the Labour frontbencher is ‘a f***ing liar’ for saying she hadn’t lived there with him.

If her main address was Lowndes Lane then she should have paid capital gains tax on the profit she made on the property. She also could be in breach of electoral law if her main residence was Lowndes Lane when she was registered to vote at Vicarage Road. Under Section 13D of the Representation of the People Act 1983: ‘A person who for any purpose connected with the registration of electors provides to a registration officer any false information is guilty of an offence’.

Over the weekend, the Mail on Sunday published a series of photos proving that Lowndes Lane was Rayner’s home and that Rayner had recently lied to the press and public in an effort to coverup her lawbreaking.

The Daily Mail article and the photographs proving Rayner lied, can be read in full here.

Last week, Greater Manchester Police announced they were ‘reassessing’ their original decision that the deputy Labour leader had done nothing wrong over allegations she registered to vote at her ex-council house while in fact letting her brother live there.

Following the serious allegations against her, Rayner has declined all television interviews and, despite previously demanding that any politician caught lying should resign, has refused to make public the legal advice she claims to have sought that ‘exonerates her’ (perhaps because she is lying again and it doesn’t exist?) and has so far declared no intention of standing down in the face of damning evidence proving her guilt.

Rayner is not the only Labour MP to have broken electoral laws, with Corbynista Charlotte Nichols having lied on her nomination papers to help win her seat – only to avoid being prosecuted due to a technicality. The full, shocking exclusive story on Nichols can be read here
